The Total Protection System
Designed to protect the Real Estate Broker, Agent
and their Buyers and Sellers
RERM has been
providing 20 years of pro-active leadership and cutting edge strategies in
“Lawsuit Prevention” for the Real Estate Industry
Let me ask you Mr. or Ms. Broker – How do you handle
threats of suit and those related types of problems that can escalate into
full-blown lawsuits? Does that fall in your lap? Quite frustrating and time
consuming isn’t it?
Our
“Total Protection System” is your solution to those trying legal issues.
You
know that with the state of the E&O Insurance industry today we have to be
exceptionally diligent in keeping the frivolous, nuisance and crank threats away
from our E&O. E&O Insurance is there for the catastrophic issue that cannot be
solved through other means. Brokers have to maintain a clean E&O claims history
so that their cost stabilizes and that they don’t end up with huge deductibles.
Agents do not
like that.
RERM started 20 years ago in the Risk Management
business. We also offer Errors and Omissions Insurance through our Insurance
agency where we work to secure the most appropriate coverage and competitive
pricing for those Brokers seeking Errors and Omissions Insurance.
We are so confident that our tried and true, time
tested programs are so right on, that if we are not able to stop a threat of
suit from becoming a lawsuit, we will pay the Broker’s E&O deductible up to
$10,000. For the past 2 decades we have been successful in over 96% of the
cases. Our program is a true zero deductible plan for Brokers and Agents.
We offer the Real Estate professional a
Business Plan
that includes phone consultation with an attorney, document review and attorney
letters to the plaintiff’s side to eliminate the threat. All the “Exclusions”
written into your E&O policy are covered in legal fees and court costs to cover
those exclusions. The Broker is covered for Agents who have left the firm.
RERM offers “Past Acts” coverage.
The Broker and Agent have
“Personal Coverage”,
which includes coverage for the sale of the Agents own residential properties.
The Broker and Agents can consult with our attorneys on personal legal issues;
those benefits are structured similar to the Business plan.
The
“Star” of the program is the Buyer/Seller portion of the “Total Protection
System”.
Your clients can council
with attorneys on non-dispute
transactional issues
related to the transaction. There is no limit to the 30-minute free sessions;
however, each session must be on a different topic. If the client chooses to
continue with the attorney on an issue they will receive up to a 25% rate
reduction.
We offer trained Risk
Managers who will help your client navigate through an issue with the other side
through successful demand letters, small claims advice or formal mediation.
Our highly effective
informal mediation service is included at no extra charge to your clients.
There is no limit as to the number of times your client can use this part of the
service and when a settlement is reached, our panel attorneys will write up the
settlement agreement, again with no additional fees to your client.
Over the last two decades
we have seen the real human cost of Real Estate disputes and lawsuits on the
Broker, Agents and Buyers and Sellers. Prevention is what works, not being drawn
into the legal system.
Your Sellers are entitled
to a $50,000 Home Repair Service Agreement when selling their personal
residence. This incredible listing tool covers the unknown and undisclosed when
all the proper inspections are taken.
There is the potential to
receive a producer’s fee on each transaction, which you the Broker, are in
control of. Brokers who build a contingency fund or use the money to offset the
cost of their E&O premium. – An important consideration in recruiting top
agents.
