This plan provides coverage to home sellers for repair costs and legal expenses incurred in connection with a claim by the home purchaser for unknown and undisclosed defects in a single family home that is the primary residence and is listed on the certificate.

Each home seller is covered for up to $50,000 for repair costs and legal expenses for a period of 180 days, following the close of escrow for the above listed home.  There is no deductible as long as the seller utilizes an attorney from RERM’s legal panel. 

All claims must be reported to Real Estate Risk Management, Inc. at 1-800-937-6526, within 10 days from the date of institution of the covered event and within the 180 day period.
